Stanley, known for its viral water bottles, has released a protein shaker that the reviewer calls the best they have ever used after over a decade of lifting. However, at £60, the price tag is a significant barrier.
The shaker features a leakproof twist-top design that the reviewer tested by tossing it in a bag during a commute; no leaks occurred. The double-wall vacuum-insulated stainless steel construction kept a chocolate shake cold until lunchtime and showed no wear after multiple dishwasher cycles.
Despite these strengths, the shaker's large size — a 0.59L capacity with an additional bottom compartment for powder — makes it unwieldy for some bags. The twist-top also requires two hands to open, reducing on-the-go convenience.
The reviewer concludes that while the shaker offers clear advantages over standard models, the 1,150 per cent mark-up compared to a typical shaker is hard to justify. Durability and insulation are praised, but the price and bulk may deter potential buyers.
