The Sidemen Charity Match returned to Wembley Stadium on Saturday, with 90,000 fans watching as YouTube stars and influencers competed for charity. This year's edition, the seventh, saw the Sidemen split across two teams for the first time, with KSI, Miniminter and Behzinga playing for the YouTube Allstars, while Zerkaa, Vikkstar, Wroetoshaw and TBJZL represented SDMN FC.
The match ended 8-8 after regular time, with Miniminter scoring a hat-trick for the Allstars. Other notable goals came from Niko Omilana, ArthurTV and Jynxzi for the Sidemen, while KSI also found the net. The game featured a bizarre moment when Max Fosh took the referee's yellow card and set it alight after being booked.
With the scores level, the match went to a penalty shootout. After both sides converted their first penalties, the Allstars took a 2-0 lead. The Sidemen pulled one back through Lazarbeam, but Mrwhosetheboss scored the decisive penalty to win the shootout for the YouTube Allstars.
After the trophy was lifted, KSI announced that the match had raised £6,218,875 for various charities, surpassing last year's total of £4.7 million. The event featured appearances from I'm a Celebrity winner Angryginge, Niko Omilana, Stable Ronaldo and many others, with Jack Joseph managing SDMN FC and Calfreezy in charge of the Allstars.
