Rashford's future remains uncertain after a quiet summer. Following a loan spell at Aston Villa, a move to Barcelona seemed likely, but the Catalan club shifted focus to Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams. When Williams signed a new ten-year contract, Barcelona's attention may turn back to Rashford.
According to MEN Sport, Rashford was one of five players granted an extended summer break to explore transfer opportunities. Despite this, he attended Carrington on Monday and Tuesday for individual training away from the senior squad, who also returned on Monday.
United have moved forward with the expectation that Rashford will leave this summer, confirming Matheus Cunha as the club's new No.10. This suggests the club does not anticipate Rashford staying long-term.
