Bojan Miovski has declared that Rangers are hitting peak form at the ideal moment in the season, following a spectacular comeback victory against Falkirk. The Scottish Premiership side roared back from a two-goal deficit to secure a 6-3 win, showcasing their attacking prowess and resilience.
Stunning Comeback Fuels Title Charge
Rangers endured a poor start in their away fixture at Falkirk on Sunday, falling 2-0 behind against a team that had already secured a top-six finish. However, under the guidance of manager Danny Rohl, the team mounted an impressive second-half resurgence, netting six goals to claim a decisive victory. This result narrows the gap to just one point behind league leaders Hearts, intensifying an already thrilling title race.
Miovski Emphasises Consistency and Attack
North Macedonian striker Bojan Miovski, who came off the bench to score twice, highlighted the importance of consistency in the marathon-like league campaign. He stated, 'The previous game was not good away at Falkirk, but now we are in a situation where we are one point behind. Consistency is the key, and I think the last couple of games we played really well.'
Miovski underscored Rangers' attacking philosophy, adding, 'It doesn't matter how the result is, we always go for a goal. We don't want to defend or keep the result. We're at Rangers, we're a club that wants to dominate and score as much as we can.' He stressed the need for calmness when trailing, noting that the team analysed their first-half errors and created more chances after the break.
Striker Partnership Shows Promise
Miovski entered the match as a substitute at half-time, partnering with Youssef Chermiti in a flat 4-4-2 formation. Although they have not played together extensively this season, the duo proved highly effective, each scoring two goals and causing significant problems for Falkirk's defence with their movement.
Reflecting on the partnership, Miovski said, 'It's like you have someone close to you who can help you. When you play alone, you are more waiting in the box and waiting for the wingers.' He expressed readiness to continue this collaboration, stating, 'Every player needs to be ready. I came on second half and helped the team. It's up to the coach to choose who to start. I'm always ready, work hard, and wait for my chance.'
Title Ambitions and Personal Goals
With Rangers scoring 14 league goals in their last three matches, Miovski believes the team is hitting top gear at the perfect time. He affirmed his desire to contribute to title success, saying, 'Every striker wants to score goals and win titles. So, of course, I would like to help the team to win the title.' This victory not only boosts Rangers' position but also signals their formidable form as the season reaches its climax.
