Rangers sanctioned the departure of 19 players during the summer as Derek McInnes reshaped the squad, with former captain James Tavernier among the most notable exits. Record Sport has checked on how those who left are performing at their new clubs.
Key departures and early impressions
Former captain James Tavernier ended his decade at Ibrox with a move to Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv, joining former teammate Kenny Miller. He has scored once in five games. Goalkeeper Jack Butland returned to England with Hull City, although an elbow injury means he has yet to feature for the Tigers in the Premier League.
Mohamed Diomande moved to Turkish Super Lig newcomers FK Corum, where he has helped them to sixth in the table, contributing one goal and two assists in 11 games. John Souttar came close to leaving after the window closed, but a deal with Greek side Aris could not be agreed.
Loans and permanent moves
Thelo Aasgaard joined Anderlecht on loan after starting and scoring in the first Premiership game of the season. He has made 11 appearances and scored once, with Rangers hoping he adds to that tally to trigger the agreed £6.5million fee next summer. Danilo is on loan at Botafogo, with a conditional obligation to buy, and has one goal and one assist so far.
Nedim Bajrami moved to Al-Taawoun on loan in the Saudi Pro League, a deal that includes a £2.5million option to buy. He has made nine appearances without a goal or assist. Ben Davies joined Bolton Wanderers on a two-year deal after his Ibrox contract expired, playing six times for the Championship side.
Youngsters and returning loanees
Leon King signed a two-year deal with Ayr United after a successful loan spell there, and has played ten times this season. Bailey Rice linked up with former Rangers coach Neil McCann on loan at Kilmarnock and has ten appearances. Lyall Cameron returned to Dundee United on loan, scoring two goals and adding an assist in four games.
Connor Barron's loan to Middlesbrough has not gone well, with the midfielder yet to make an appearance. Kieran Wright joined Hearts as a training keeper on a short-term contract until January, while Clinton Nsiala moved to Sherjah FC in the UAE for an undisclosed fee, making one appearance.
Players returning to parent clubs
Mikey Moore ended his loan at Ibrox and joined FC Koln, with one goal and two assists for the Bundesliga side. Andreas Skov Olsen returned to Basaksehir on loan, contributing one goal and three assists in eight games. Max Aarons returned to Bournemouth after his loan ended, but has not featured under Marco Rose.
