Tottenham Hotspur secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, booking their place in the FA Cup semi-finals. Christian Eriksen scored twice, with Erik Lamela adding a goal on the stroke of half-time, as Mauricio Pochettino's side dominated from start to finish.
Eriksen opened the scoring in the 27th minute with a fine strike from outside the area, before Lamela doubled the lead just before the break with a similar effort. The Danish midfielder completed his brace in the second half with another long-range shot that deflected past the Swansea goalkeeper.
Swansea offered little resistance, managing only a few half-chances in the second half through Tammy Abraham and Martin Olsson. Tottenham could have added more goals, with Son Heung-min and Eric Dier both going close.
The win sets up a semi-final appearance for Tottenham, who will be hoping to end their trophy drought under Pochettino. The Argentine manager has faced questions about his inability to win silverware, but this performance suggests his side are serious contenders for the FA Cup.
