Jordan Pickford's Casual Wedding Outfit and Wife's Ring Destroyed

England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and childhood sweetheart Megan Davison tied the knot at a Cheshire registry office in 2020 after their original Maldives wedding plans were scuppered by the Covid-19 pandemic. Pickford opted for an unusual outfit, wearing a Givenchy tracksuit top, ripped blue jeans and a black baseball cap, while Davison wore a blouse and white fur. The couple shared a kiss outside the office, with Davison posting a photo on Instagram and writing, "We should have been in the Maldives, but here's a throwback of our legal day."

The couple had earlier endured an engagement ring calamity when Davison's £500,000 diamond ring became stuck on her swollen finger due to water retention during her pregnancy with son Arlo. Despite trying washing-up liquid, butter and ice, she had to visit a jeweller to have the ring cut off. Davison posted on Instagram: "We've been to the jewellers for the chop."

Two years later, in June 2022, Pickford and Davison finally had the wedding of their dreams on a Maldives beach, arranged by Ikebana Maldives. Surrounded by 13 guests, the couple exchanged vows on a white podium with pink roses. Davison wore a white off-the-shoulder Berta gown with floral lace, while Pickford swapped his casual attire for a white tuxedo, cream bowtie and brown loafers.

The couple, who have been together since childhood, now live with their son Arlo. Pickford continues to play for Everton and the England national team, with his marriage proving as steadfast as his goalkeeping.
