England are out to secure top spot in their World Cup group as they take on Panama in their final group stage fixture. Thomas Tuchel's side made a superb start to the tournament as they defeated 2018 finalists Croatia 4-2 in Dallas, with Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham and Marcus Rashford all scoring. However, those celebrations turned to frustration as they were held to a goalless draw against Ghana in Boston earlier this week, with the group winner set to be decided by the final round of fixtures.
With the Three Lions holding a narrow lead at the top of the table on goal difference, a big win against Panama in New Jersey should be enough to secure their place as group winners. But it is all still to play for, as they could well be caught by Ghana, or indeed Croatia, who are facing off in Group L's other remaining fixture.
