The Ospreys started their Challenge Cup campaign with a convincing 39-14 bonus point victory over Black Lion in Tbilisi.
Gwilym Evans, Morgan Morse, Huw Sutton, Lewis Lloyd and Kian Hire crossed for tries, with Luke Morgan helping himself to two as they outscored their opponents seven tries to two. That ensured Mark Jones' side could help themselves to a bonus point under the new system.
Changes pay off after travel-heavy start
Having now amassed 10,000 miles of travel in the opening four weeks of the season, changes were needed following the Ospreys' first win of the season in Newport last weekend.
Fortunately, those new faces hit the ground running - with flanker Evans imperious in just his fourth start for the club.
It was the openside's outside break from his own half that laid the foundations for the Ospreys' first attacking opportunity minutes in, with the 23-year-old then crossing from the following driving maul.
Ospreys dominate first half
Minutes later, the Ospreys had a second. From a five-metre scrum, Wales back-row Morse rumbled through a couple of would-be tacklers to dive over with ease.
The hosts hit back, with scrum-half Giorgi Spenderashvili dancing through some poor tackles midway through the half.
However, the Ospreys would regain control. After more powerful carrying from Evans brought them into the red-zone, Sutton burrowed over to ensure all of the starting back-row found their way onto the scoresheet.
The Ospreys then went over for their fourth five minutes before the break. From a lineout, hooker Lloyd powered through a tackle, before finding Lalakai Foketi who would give the try-scoring pass to wing Morgan.
Second-half tries seal bonus point
The Welsh side continued to impress after the break, with Morgan diving over in the corner for his second.
A superb team score was then ended with Reuben-Morgan Williams firing a pass out for Lloyd to dive over out wide.
Lloyd then turned provider, with a rampaging break bringing him to within inches of the Black Lion line. While he was dragged down short, replacement tighthead Hire was able to force his way over.
The Ospreys looked to have another score late on, only for Harri Wilde's effort to be overturned by a lengthy TMO check.
In the end, the home side would have the final say - with Otar Giorgadze powering over for a consolation score.
