Strahan was announcing his induction into the Texas Southern University Hall of Fame when Bradshaw chimed in with a quip, claiming he had also been inducted despite never attending the historically black college.
Strahan, a former defensive end who set a school record with 19 sacks in a season and was twice named SWAC Defensive Player of the Year, quickly retorted: "You didn't go to Texas Southern. We would have known, you would have stood out." The rest of the panel joined in the playful banter before turning attention to upcoming games.
Bradshaw's on-air antics have drawn criticism, with some suggesting it may be time for him to step away from broadcasting. Last week, he faced backlash after adopting a Carolina accent while previewing a game between the Carolina Panthers and Las Vegas Raiders. Social media users expressed confusion, with one posting: "Terry Bradshaw, I'm so sorry, but I can't even understand you anymore. Please leave the studio, man."
Despite the controversy, Bradshaw has been a mainstay at Fox since 1994 and continues to be a familiar face to football fans. The lighthearted exchange with Strahan was part of a segment that also saw NFL insider Jay Glazer dunked in a water tank as part of a comedic pitching challenge involving baseball legends Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter and David Ortiz.
