Team news and injuries
Mason Mount has not been passed fit in time to face Ipswich. Amad Diallo is set to be sidelined for "a little bit longer", according to Carrick, having missed the opener with an unspecified knock picked up in training. Tom Heaton, Matthijs de Ligt and Manuel Ugarte will also miss United's first home fixture of the campaign through injury.
New signing Carlos Baleba has joined from Brighton for £70million, but is injured after picking up an ankle ligament problem during a pre-season training camp in Austria. He will not be seen on the pitch for his new club for "two or three weeks".
