Adult content creator and Manchester United fan Skylar Skye has claimed her 'lucky bra' was behind the club's comeback win against Roma at Old Trafford. United came from 2-0 down at half-time to win 3-2.
X-rated vow and victory
Skye had promised to share boob pics on social media until Michael Carrick is sacked, following the previous Champions League outing which ended in defeat against Como. Carrick survived crisis talks, and Matheus Cunha's late brace completed the turnaround.
The victory was United's first in 10 games, a run of almost two months. Skye, who was at Old Trafford, claimed responsibility for ending the winless run.
Lucky bra and fan reaction
Posting on X after the game, Skye flashed her black and white laced bra and said: "I'm wearing my lucky bra today at Old Trafford today, so if United win, you know who to thank." She captioned the post: "YOUR WELCOME GUYS."
Fans thanked Skye for her effort, with one user saying: "Congratulations for winning the game." A second echoed: "We needed this comeback," and a third added: "Thanks for bringing the boys back!"
Protests and ownership
The night began with the Stretford End releasing green and gold balloons in protest at the Glazer ownership. Skye has also promised to back fans' ongoing protests to rid the club of the Glazers, sharing a snap in a bright pink bra with black spots and saying: "Getting my b*obs out until the Glazers and INEOS are removed from Manchester United."
The Glazer family bought the club in a leveraged buyout in 2025, plunging it into £600m of debt. Since then, more than £1billion has gone out of the club in debt repayments, interest, refinancing costs and dividends. Co-owner and INEOS boss Sir Jim Ratcliffe's reign since February 2024 has been marked by failure on the pitch, cost cutting and ticket price increases.
