Man City vs PSG: Champions League Showdown at Etihad

Manchester City welcome two-time defending Champions League winners PSG to the Etihad for a huge showdown. The contest pits two of the favourites for the European competition against each other, with City chasing a ninth successive win in all competitions having beaten Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield on Sunday to open up a three-point gap at the top of the Premier League.

First Home Game Since Charges Verdict

PSG will prove a stern test for the Blues in what is City's first home game since they were found guilty by an independent commission of more than 100 charges brought against them by the Premier League.

Enzo Maresca has a fully-fit squad to choose from, with Phil Foden back in contention having completed his three-game suspension following a red card in the Manchester derby at Old Trafford.

Predicted Lineup and Key Selection Calls

The Blues boss is unlikely to tinker too much given City's imperious form, and Gianluigi Donnarumma will certainly line up against his former club. Captain Ruben Dias and Marc Guehi will be the centre-back pairing, with Matheus Nunes on the right.

Maresca has a choice between Nico O'Reilly and Josko Gvardiol on the opposite flank, but the former has the shirt and could well keep it tonight. O'Reilly often links up well with Jeremy Doku on the left, and the wideman surely comes into the team after his performance off the bench against Liverpool. Iliman Ndiaye could be the unlucky man, with Antoine Semenyo backed to start on the right.

Midfield and Attack Confirmed

Enzo Fernandez and Elliot Anderson were superb at Anfield and are certain starters in the middle, while Rayan Cherki and Erling Haaland can complete the XI.

Predicted City XI: Donnarumma, Nunes, Dias, Guehi, O'Reilly; Fernandez, Anderson, Cherki; Semenyo, Doku, Haaland.
