The Manchester derby between Manchester City and Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 27, with an 8pm kick-off, live on Sky Sports. The match was originally postponed due to United's EFL Cup final appearance in February.
The rearrangement adds to a congested April schedule for both sides. United face seven Premier League matches and two Europa League quarter-final legs against Anderlecht, while City have six league games and an FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal on April 23.
United manager Jose Mourinho has previously complained about the intense fixture list as his team fights for a top-four finish and Europa League glory. City boss Pep Guardiola's side currently sit fourth, four points ahead of United with two games in hand.
The two sides have already met twice this season, with City winning 2-1 at Old Trafford in September and United triumphing 1-0 in the EFL Cup in October. Notably, former United winger Andrei Kanchelskis is the only player to score a Premier League hat-trick on a Thursday, doing so against City in 1994.
Other fixture changes include Chelsea hosting Southampton on April 25, Arsenal hosting Leicester City on April 26, and Tottenham travelling to Crystal Palace on the same night.
