Luke Littler Lands £2,500 Bet at Cheltenham Festival Days After UK Open Win

Luke Littler, the teenage darts sensation, enjoyed a lucrative day at the Cheltenham Festival on Wednesday, winning £2,500 from a £250 bet on 9/1 shot King Rasko Grey in the Turners Novices' Hurdle. The 19-year-old, fresh from his UK Open triumph on Sunday, shared his winning betting slip on Instagram.

Littler was joined by fellow darts stars Luke Humphries and Nathan Aspinall, as well as his girlfriend Faith Millar. The group cheered from the stands as King Rasko Grey edged out Act Of Innocence, Zeus Power and Soldier Reeves to win the first race of the day.

Online tipster Pro Sports Advice, standing next to Littler, had an even bigger win, netting £50,000 from a £5,000 stake. Littler was seen applauding and embracing those nearby as the horse crossed the finish line.

The win comes just days after Littler pocketed £120,000 for retaining his UK Open title in Minehead. He defeated Damon Heta, Kevin Doets, Gary Anderson, Danny Noppert, Josh Rock and James Wade to secure his second consecutive crown. The victory followed his maiden Premier League night win in Cardiff.

Littler, who currently leads the PDC Order of Merit alongside Humphries, said: 'I had a little dry spell, but I think I can say I'm back. The form hasn't gone my way in the Premier League, so to win in Cardiff meant a lot.' He faces Gerwyn Price in his Premier League quarter-final on Thursday.
