Lille Set £54m Price for Liverpool and Man Utd Target Osimhen

Victor Osimhen's potential summer move to the Premier League has been given a boost after Lille reportedly set a £54 million (€60m) asking price for the Nigerian striker. The 21-year-old has attracted interest from several top European clubs following an impressive season at the French club, where he scored 18 goals in 38 appearances.

Manchester United and Liverpool are among the Premier League sides linked with Osimhen, along with Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham. Italian clubs Napoli and Inter Milan are also monitoring the situation. Lille are open to selling the forward, who signed from Belgian side Charleroi last summer and is under contract until 2024.

According to transfer expert Nicolo Schira, Osimhen is seeking a five-year deal worth around £3.6 million (€4m) per year, equating to approximately £65,000 a week. The Nigerian international has expressed a desire to play in the Premier League but has emphasised that he wants regular first-team football, stating: “Signing for a big club and being on the bench is not exciting for me.”
