Liverpool are reportedly laying the groundwork for next summer's transfer window, with Bayern Munich's Michael Olise emerging as a key target. The Reds invested over £400 million in eight new signings this summer, including Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz, but are already planning further reinforcements.
According to Caught Offside, Liverpool view Olise as a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah, whose contract runs until 2027. The France international joined Bayern from Crystal Palace in 2024 for around £52 million and has since scored 24 goals in 59 appearances, surpassing his Palace tally.
Bayern have placed an £87 million valuation on Olise, though it remains unclear if that figure will change. Liverpool are also reportedly still interested in Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, a former teammate of Olise's at Selhurst Park.
The January window offers the next opportunity to strengthen, but reports suggest the club's focus is on a major summer overhaul. Olise's potential arrival would add to a squad already bolstered by high-profile signings, as Arne Slot's side continues to evolve.
