Love Island confirms Casa Amor return date just days away
Love Island confirms Casa Amor return date days away

Love Island fans will not have to wait much longer for the dramatic Casa Amor twist, as the show confirmed during Friday evening's episode that the segment returns this Sunday, June 28.

What is Casa Amor?

The fan-favourite segment splits the boys and girls into separate villas, introducing them to a fresh wave of bombshells determined to catch their eye and secure a lasting place in the main villa. Each Islander must decide whether to succumb to temptation and pair up with a newcomer or remain faithful to their existing partner.

The announcement follows a recent recoupling where the boys selected the girls. While they appeared largely satisfied with their new pairings, the approaching twist threatens to create absolute chaos, according to OK! magazine.

Last year's explosive Casa Amor

In the 2025 series, Casa Amor produced one of the most shocking moments when Tommy Bradley emerged from the segment with makeup artist Lucy Quinn, stunning the villa. His partner, Emily Moran, had remained faithful to him and was subsequently eliminated from the programme.

Tommy and Lucy's romance was engulfed in controversy after a voice message from Lucy surfaced, seemingly exposing her strategy to win the show before entering Casa Amor. In the recording, she said: "I've got a phone call today by the way, saying they want to fly me out on Tuesday or Monday. So they said to me on Sunday they'll let me know for 100 per cent, but looks like I'm f*****g going on one of those days. So they were like, get your stuff packed basically. I was like, 'I'm already packed love'. They asked me for my top three boys. And told them, I said, 'Tommy, I want Tommy.' I feel like if I'm with Tommy I feel like I'll get all the way to the end."

Following their exit from the villa, Lucy addressed the voice note on companion show Aftersun, explaining: "I did say till the end, but it weren't the final, I meant the end... I would like to be with him in the future." The pair split shortly after leaving the villa.

What to expect this year

With the recoupling fresh in mind, the Islanders now face their biggest test. Viewers will see whether current couples, including those like Jasmine and Lorenzo—who was recently accused of having an "affair in plain sight"—will remain loyal or be swayed by the incoming bombshells.

Love Island airs Sundays to Fridays at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
