Luke Littler produced a stunning comeback from 5-0 down to defeat Gerwyn Price in a last-leg decider and win night seven of the Premier League in Dublin.
The world champion had earlier coasted past Stephen Bunting 6-3 in the quarter-finals, hitting an average of 105, before edging out Michael van Gerwen in a last-leg semi-final that featured 170 finishes from both players.
In the final, Price stormed into a 5-0 lead, but Littler finally got on the board and gestured jokingly to the crowd. Momentum swung as Price missed five match darts, allowing Littler to level and then take out 81 on double 15 in the decider.
Price had beaten Luke Humphries 6-1 in the semi-finals, averaging 109 with five maximums, after whitewashing Josh Rock in the quarters. Rock remains pointless in his debut campaign.
Littler moves up to second in the table on 16 points, three behind leader Jonny Clayton, while Price sits third. Van Gerwen received a bye to the semis after Gian van Veen withdrew with kidney stones.
