Tottenham Hotspur have Dejan Kulusevski back on the bench for Monday's Premier League clash with Coventry City, but Savio, Pedro Porro and Lucas Bergvall all miss out through injury.
Kulusevski has not played since May 2025 after suffering a complicated kneecap injury that required two surgeries and kept him sidelined for more than 500 days. The Swedish playmaker was part of the travelling squad for last weekend's late 1-1 draw at Manchester United and has since trained with the first team, including during the club's warm-weather training camp in Marbella.
De Zerbi Confirms Kulusevski Return
Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi confirmed the Swedish international's return in his pre-match press conference on Sunday, saying: "Yes, Kulusevski [will be] on the bench. We had a meeting with the medical staff, they gave the okay and it's great news."
The match against Coventry comes after an extended break between games, offering an opportunity to reintegrate Kulusevski as Tottenham search for their first Premier League win of the season.
Porro and Others Ruled Out
De Zerbi has confirmed the game comes too soon for vice-captain Pedro Porro, who has been out for nearly a month with a hamstring injury suffered during the 3-2 defeat by Aston Villa. He should be ready for next weekend's Chelsea game.
Tottenham are also without midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur, who is suspended after being sent off for headbutting Manchester United defender Luke Shaw. Savio and Lucas Bergvall have been ruled out through injury.
De Zerbi has handed James Maddison a first Premier League start since April 2025.
