Manchester United are poised to receive a significant financial boost from the potential sale of Michael Keane this summer, thanks to a sell-on clause in his transfer to Burnley.
The 24-year-old centre-back, who made his senior England debut against Germany this week, has attracted interest from several top clubs, including Liverpool, after an impressive season at Turf Moor.
United sold Keane to Burnley for £2.5 million in 2015, and it is understood the deal includes a clause entitling them to up to 25 per cent of any future transfer fee.
Burnley are hopeful of securing more than £20 million for the defender, whose contract runs until 2018. Keane has previously turned down offers of a new deal.
