Harry Kane has been filmed celebrating his historic Ballon d'Or triumph at an exclusive Soho nightclub after-party in London.
The Bayern Munich and England striker was crowned the first Briton to win the award since Michael Owen in 2001, after a season in which he scored 73 goals in 65 appearances. He finished ahead of Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal, who came second and third in the voting respectively.
A Milestone Achievement
For Kane, the honour marks a milestone moment. Throughout his career, he has faced criticism for lacking silverware to match his goalscoring record, but his title-winning campaign at Bayern Munich, along with Monday's award, has settled that debate.
He celebrated in style after making an emotional acceptance speech and taking part in numerous photo opportunities for reporters and photographers.
Celebrations at Cirque le Soir
Kane shared a video on his Instagram page filmed on the street outside the London Palladium, where the ceremony was held, showing him hoisting the trophy to cheers from fans. He then attended an after-party at Cirque le Soir, a self-described "iconic and immersive" Soho club featuring circus performers, an in-house funfair, and live music.
Footage that emerged on social media shows the striker surrounded by his wife Katie Goodland, his parents, and his brother Charlie, who also acts as his agent.
Tottenham Stars in Attendance
Three Tottenham players can be spotted in the clip. Kane's close friend Eric Dier, who followed him from Spurs to Bayern, is present alongside Matt Doherty and veteran defender Ben Davies, who scored against Coventry last week. Former Spurs player and manager Tim Sherwood, under whose leadership Kane scored four goals in 18 appearances, is also at the party. Kane spent much of the night with close friend and former coach Ryan Mason, though Mason is not visible in the after-party clip.
