Haaland's Heroics Seal Manchester City's Dramatic Comeback Against Wolves
Haaland's late show gives Man City dramatic win at Wolves

Manchester City staged a stunning late comeback to defeat Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-2 in a Premier League thriller, with Erling Haaland proving the difference-maker with two crucial goals.

The match at Molineux looked to be slipping away from the champions when Hwang Hee-chan put Wolves 2-1 ahead in the 66th minute. However, Haaland's predatory instincts came to the fore as he first levelled in the 84th minute before heading home the winner just five minutes later.

Early Drama at Molineux

The game burst into life early when Julian Alvarez fired City ahead after just 13 minutes with a superb free-kick. Wolves responded strongly, with Ruben Dias turning the ball into his own net under pressure from Hwang to level the scores before half-time.

Haaland's Perfect Timing

With City struggling to break down a resolute Wolves defence, it took the Norwegian striker's intervention to turn the game. His first came from close range after good work from Phil Foden, before he powered home a header from Rodri's cross to complete the turnaround.

The victory keeps City hot on the heels of league leaders Arsenal, while Wolves' brave performance ultimately went unrewarded. Pep Guardiola will be relieved to have secured three vital points in what could prove a pivotal moment in the title race.
