Viktor Gyokeres has urged Arsenal to take advantage of an "amazing opportunity" as they close in on a first Champions League title. The Gunners are one match from reaching the final for the first time in 20 years, having never won the competition.
Arsenal host Atlético Madrid in the second leg of their semi-final on Tuesday, with the tie level at 1-1 after Gyokeres scored a penalty in the first leg, cancelled out by Julian Alvarez's spot-kick.
The Sweden international has found form after a difficult start since his £64m move from Sporting Lisbon, scoring twice in Saturday's 3-0 win over Fulham to take his season tally to 21 goals. He endured a lean spell earlier but has five goals in his last eight appearances.
"There is a good feeling in the dressing room," Gyokeres said. "We know what is at stake and we have an amazing opportunity to have a great game tomorrow and enjoy it with the fans." He added that the squad must show energy and do well in the upcoming games.
