Oliver Glasner has confirmed he will leave Crystal Palace at the end of this season, having informed chairman Steve Parish in October of his desire for a new challenge. The Austrian, who led Palace to FA Cup glory last season, is out of contract in the summer and has been linked with Manchester United.
Speaking before Saturday's match at Sunderland, Glasner revealed that captain Marc Guéhi is on the verge of joining Manchester City and will not feature. He also stated that leading scorer Jean-Philippe Mateta would be allowed to leave for the right offer, with Juventus interested but yet to meet Palace's valuation.
Glasner insisted his relationship with Parish remains strong, saying they are focused on what is best for the club. Palace have made a €20m (£17.3m) offer for Angers striker Sidiki Chérif, and the 19-year-old is keen to join.
The club has begun searching for a replacement, with candidates including Getafe's José Bordalás, Rayo Vallecano's Iñigo Pérez, and Ipswich's Kieran McKenna, who was considered when Roy Hodgson departed in February 2024.
