Tommy Fleetwood's wife, Clare, has helped the English golfer achieve a unique dream by decking him out in Masters merchandise. Fleetwood admitted that playing Augusta National in official gear is something that does not happen 'very often.'
The 35-year-old returns to the Masters with his best finish being tied-third in 2024, and he is hoping to improve on that result this time around. Fleetwood watched on with pride as close friend Rory McIlroy clinched a historic win in 2025 and aims to replicate the Northern Irishman's form in Georgia.
In an interview with Kira Dixon on the official Masters YouTube channel, Fleetwood discussed his outfit and aspirations alongside his son Frankie. 'Clare went and bought [me] some t-shirts,' he said. 'It's a nice pro shop. It's actually an unbelievable pro shop. There's the merchandise shop, and then there's the pro shop.'
Fleetwood added: 'I've been kind of excited for a while to be able to play a Masters wearing the Masters logo. I think that's really special and really cool. So, as a golf nerd, I'm looking forward to that. I just think it's really, really cool.'
Fleetwood's wife, Clare, who is 23 years his senior, will watch on as he competes in his 10th Masters. The Englishman, who is still seeking his first major title, emphasised the importance of appreciating the tournament. 'I'm just looking forward to appreciating enjoying another Masters,' he said. 'I think I have been playing pretty solid, pretty consistent. I'm at this point where this is my 10th, so I've played it a lot. Hopefully that experience can show a little bit.'
