Everton welcome Chelsea to Hill Dickinson Stadium for Saturday afternoon's 12.30pm Premier League clash, with both teams level on 10 points. The hosts sit fifth, while the visitors occupy the same position in the table, setting up a tightly contested encounter.
Unbeaten run under pressure
The Blues reach mid-October unbeaten, a run of eight games across the Premier League and Carabao Cup. However, tougher tests lie ahead, with a visit to champions Arsenal scheduled for next weekend.
Chelsea will be keen to avoid a repeat of their last trip to the banks of the Mersey, where Everton secured a 3-0 victory in March, their highest high since moving into their new stadium.
