Duran Duran have announced a major UK arena tour for autumn 2024, with dates in Glasgow, Belfast, Liverpool, Birmingham, and Leeds. The tour will begin at Glasgow's OVO Hydro on 15 October, followed by Belfast's SSE Arena on 18 October, Birmingham's Utilita Arena on 20 October, Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena on 23 October, and concluding at Leeds' First Direct Arena on 24 October. Indie band Pigeon will serve as support.
The announcement follows the release of their new single 'Free To Love', featuring Chic's Nile Rodgers, in April. The band is also set to headline London's British Summer Time festival on 5 July, with support from Scissor Sisters.
Beyond the UK, the tour will extend to European cities including Oslo, Stockholm, Hamburg, Cologne, Brussels, and Paris.
Duran Duran, comprising Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor, and Roger Taylor, are known for hits such as 'Rio', 'Hungry Like The Wolf', and the James Bond theme 'A View To A Kill'. With over 100 million records sold, two UK number one singles, and a number one album, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on 5 June via myticket.co.uk, with presales on 3 and 4 June.
