Celtic moved within four points of Scottish Premiership leaders Rangers with a dominant 3-0 win over Dundee United at Tannadice on Sunday. Goals from Tom Rogic, David Turnbull, and Liam Scales secured a fifth consecutive away victory for Ange Postecoglou's side.
Rogic broke the deadlock in the 19th minute with a superb curling effort past Charlie Mulgrew and into the far post. Turnbull doubled the lead just before half-time, lobbing goalkeeper Benjamin Siegrist and stabbing home from close range after a fine pass from Callum McGregor.
Celtic dominated the first half, with Kyogo Furuhashi heading over early on and forcing several saves from Siegrist. The visitors made three changes due to injuries, with Jota, Stephen Welsh, and Anthony Ralston missing out. Postecoglou confirmed Jota would be out for a 'few weeks'.
Dundee United improved after the break but rarely threatened Joe Hart's goal. Celtic sealed the win in the 81st minute when substitute Liel Abada set up Scales, who scored his first Celtic goal with a deflected finish from 18 yards.
The result leaves Celtic four points behind Rangers, who play later on Sunday. Postecoglou praised his team's performance, saying he was pleased with the attacking display and the clean sheet.
