Darts world champion Luke Littler has finally passed his driving test, succeeding on his first practical attempt after a series of theory exam failures. The 18-year-old celebrated with his driving instructor, Colin Price Driving School, which shared a photo of the proud teenager on social media.
Littler had failed his theory test six times before passing in September, scoring 43 out of 50 on multiple choice – exactly the pass mark – and comfortably exceeding the hazard perception threshold. His earlier attempts had fallen just short, with scores of 41 and 44 respectively on his fifth try.
Having won the PDC World Championship in January 2025, Littler revealed plans to spend some of his prize money on a Mercedes A-Class. He admitted he needed to pass his test sooner rather than later, saying he wanted to avoid leaving it until his twenties.
Littler now prepares to defend his world title at Alexandra Palace from December 11. He is also set to compete in the Players Championship Finals, where he will face Jeffrey De Graaf in the first round. His European Championship campaign ended early after a defeat to James Wade.
