Alejandro Garnacho has sparked online speculation after reposting a Manchester United-related TikTok video despite having left the club for Chelsea last summer. The 21-year-old winger secured a £40 million move to Stamford Bridge during the transfer window but has struggled to make an impact, scoring just one Premier League goal and providing four assists.
Garnacho's TikTok account, which has 6.2 million followers, continues to feature posts from his time at United, with no Chelsea content on his main feed. His latest repost shows the line-up from the 2024 FA Cup final, a match in which he played a key role as United beat Manchester City 2-1.
Fans on social media were quick to comment, with one writing: 'He misses home.' Another said: 'Dude want to come back to Man Utd by all means.' A third observed: 'He's really missing the good old days.' However, some fans were less welcoming, with one remarking: 'The team he thought he was too good for.'
Garnacho's relationship with United soured before his departure. After missing out on the Europa League final to Tottenham Hotspur and finishing 15th in the Premier League, he criticised his teammates, calling their season 's***' and saying: 'We didn't beat anyone in the league.'
