Chelsea produced a dominant performance to beat Barcelona 3-0 at Stamford Bridge, with teenage sensation Estêvão Willian scoring a stunning solo goal that drew comparisons with Lionel Messi. The 18-year-old Brazilian, who joined Chelsea from Palmeiras for £52 million last summer, tore the Spanish champions apart and outshone Barcelona's Lamine Yamal in a battle of two of the world's best young talents.
Estêvão's goal came in the first half after a spectacular run from the right flank. He left Pau Cubarsí bewildered, held off Alejandro Balde, and unleashed a fierce shot with his weaker right foot past Joan García. It was his fourth goal in four starts for Chelsea and made him the third teenager after Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé to score in his first three Champions League starts.
Barcelona struggled throughout, with Marc Cucurella effectively neutralising Lamine Yamal. The visitors' captain Ronald Araújo was sent off just before half-time after receiving a second yellow card for fouling Cucurella. Marcus Rashford came on as a second-half substitute for Ferran Torres, who had missed an early chance for Barcelona.
