Wolves secured a 2-1 home victory over Stoke City, while Swansea City claimed a 3-1 win in the south Wales derby at Cardiff City. Middlesbrough moved to the top of the Championship with a 2-0 triumph against West Bromwich Albion.

Wolves edge past Stoke

Wolves took the lead through a first-half goal from forward Hwang Hee-chan. Stoke equalised shortly after the interval when Lewis Baker converted a penalty, but Wolves regained the advantage with a strike from Pedro Neto.

The win lifts Wolves to fifth in the table, while Stoke remain in 14th place.

Swansea dominate Cardiff derby

Swansea took control of the derby with goals from Joel Piroe and Olivier Ntcham in the opening 20 minutes. Cardiff pulled one back through Callum Robinson, but Swansea sealed the result with a late third goal from substitute Jamie Paterson.

The victory extends Swansea's unbeaten run to five matches and moves them up to seventh, while Cardiff drop to 17th.

Middlesbrough go top

Middlesbrough claimed a comfortable 2-0 win over West Brom at the Riverside Stadium. Chuba Akpom opened the scoring in the 34th minute, and Riley McGree doubled the lead just after the hour mark.

Boro now sit top of the Championship on goal difference, while West Brom stay in 11th.
