Kasper Hogh has arrived in London for his medical ahead of a record-breaking move to Celtic. The 25-year-old Danish striker has agreed a four-year contract with a 12-month option after Celtic thrashed out a record fee with Bodo/Glimt. Barring any hitches, he will be unveiled within 48 hours.
Hogh will form a new-look £17m frontline with Camilo Duran at Parkhead. He scored 54 goals and provided 22 assists in just over 100 appearances for Bodo/Glimt, including Champions League strikes against Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, Sporting Lisbon, and a double versus Manchester City last season.
The 6ft 1in striker is set to become the most expensive signing in Celtic's history, eclipsing the £11m fee paid for Arne Engels from Augsburg two years ago.

Celtic remain hopeful of landing German Under-21 midfielder Mika Baur despite having a £4m bid rejected. The highly-rated playmaker has already agreed personal terms with the Hoops and has set his heart on a move to Glasgow. However, newly-promoted Bundesliga side Paderborn are playing hardball over his valuation. The 22-year-old is out of contract next summer and Paderborn are prepared to lose him for nothing unless a more suitable financial offer is tabled.
Celts are also keen on a deal for Haissem Hassan, but reports suggesting an agreement had been struck with Real Oviedo are wide of the mark. Manager Martin O'Neill wants to add wingers to his squad, and Egypt World Cup star Hassan has been identified as a key target. It is believed Celtic are in negotiations over a deal for the 24-year-old, who is in the final 12 months of his contract with the La Liga 2 side. However, the Double-winners also have other wide targets they are exploring.
