Brazil will be without Raphinha for their World Cup round of 32 clash against Japan on Monday, as the Barcelona winger continues to recover from a hamstring injury sustained against Haiti.

Raphinha Injury Update

The 28-year-old picked up the injury during Brazil's group stage win over Haiti and has been ruled out of the last-32 tie. He wrote on Instagram: "I will do everything within my power to recover and return as soon as possible. I want to be alongside my team-mates, fight for our goals, and keep giving everything I have to honour this shirt and bring joy to the Brazilian fans. I'm staying strong."

Raphinha is expected to return for the round of 16 at the earliest, should Brazil advance.
