Jarrell Miller faces Lenier Pero in a WBA world title eliminator at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas tonight. The contest, which will determine the challenger for Murat Gassiev's 'Regular' heavyweight belt, is being shown live on DAZN.
The undercard is scheduled to begin at around 1am UK time (8pm ET), with the main event expected at approximately 4am UK time (11pm ET). Both fighters will then touch gloves shortly before the first bell. The start times could be brought forward if the preliminary bouts conclude earlier than expected.
Miller, known as 'Big Bay', returns to the ring following a points victory over Kingsley Ibeh in January. That win was his first in nearly two years after a draw with Andy Ruiz Jr. Pero, meanwhile, enters the contest unbeaten after a narrow points win against Jordan Thompson.
Miller said: 'Pero is a phenomenal boxer with a good amateur pedigree, but he lost to the best like Usyk and Hrgovic, so that means jack to me. I’m a maniac when I’m in shape... I’m going to have fun beating his ass, I’m going to paint his face bloody red on Saturday night.'
Pero responded: 'It’s crazy because a year ago we were both asking for an opportunity at the convention here, so it shows what warriors we are that we’re here now. I know this fight comes with great expectation but I am ready and here for victory... I’m going to go in there and break him, I do my talking in the ring with my fists.'
The entire card is available free for existing DAZN subscribers. DAZN’s annual pass starts at £15.99 per month or £119.99 annually, covering over 185 fights per year plus MMA, BKFC and Misfits crossover events.
