The investment involves a 0.6% share from Warwickshire County Cricket Club and an additional 0.6% from American partners Knighthead Capital, which previously acquired a 49% stake in the franchise. This transaction values Birmingham Phoenix at approximately £82 million, reflecting the growing commercial appeal of The Hundred competition. Bellingham was identified as the previously unnamed investor referenced in Warwickshire's annual accounts, bringing a high-profile presence to the franchise's ownership group.
