Arsenal and England winger Bukayo Saka has announced his engagement to long-term girlfriend Tolami Benson. The 24-year-old proposed at a top hotel in London last week.
The couple, both 24, have been together for five years and first went public during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where they were pictured embracing in the stands.
The engagement caps a positive week for Saka on the pitch. He captained Arsenal to a north London derby victory over Tottenham and then a Champions League win against Bayern Munich. In the absence of Martin Odegaard, Saka provided an assist for Jurrien Timber against Bayern before being substituted in the second half.
Saka is expected to start Sunday's London derby against Chelsea, with Arsenal aiming to move nine points clear of their rivals at the top of the Premier League. He has scored three goals in 11 appearances against the Blues, including a penalty in a 4-2 win at Stamford Bridge in the 2021-22 season.
