Arsenal squad for Liverpool test with Madueke update

Noni Madueke was pictured with the Arsenal squad during the traditional pre-match walk ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Liverpool at Anfield, though he remains a doubt to feature due to an ankle injury.

Madueke faces late fitness test

The right winger has been unable to fully train ahead of the title race test, and reports indicate he will undergo a late fitness test today. Manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly keen to hand Madueke a start given limited options on the right side of attack, with Max Dowman suspended after a red card against Fleetwood Town.

Speaking on Friday, Arteta said: "We'll have a training session [on Saturday]. [We'll] see if he can complete that full session and as I said, I will know whether he's available or not."

Calafiori and Tzolis updates

Madueke joined his team-mates on a walk around Liverpool city centre on Sunday morning. There was also positive news on Christos Tzolis and Riccardo Calafiori, who had question marks over their fitness.

Arteta said of the pair on Friday: "They all trained today and they will train tomorrow. If everything is OK, they will be available."

Tzolis and Calafiori were also pictured with the group. Declan Rice was not shown but is expected to be in the squad.
