Arsenal are reportedly monitoring developments regarding Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, while also exploring a potential deal for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha. The Gunners are among several clubs tracking Bakayoko, who has returned to Chelsea after a loan spell at AC Milan. New Blues manager Frank Lampard is expected to meet with the 24-year-old before a decision is made on his future.
Manchester United have also expressed interest in Bakayoko as they face the potential departures of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic. However, Arsenal manager Unai Emery is said to hold the France international in high regard, keeping the north London club in the race for his signature.
In a separate move, Arsenal could facilitate their pursuit of Wilfried Zaha by signing Saint Etienne centre-back William Saliba and immediately loaning him back to the French club for the upcoming season. According to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, such an arrangement would protect Arsenal's transfer budget this summer, potentially freeing up funds for a bid for Zaha.
