A rare albino buffalo in Bangladesh, nicknamed "Donald Trump," has captured widespread attention online just before the Eid al-Adha festival. The nearly 1,540-pound buffalo earned its unusual name due to a distinctive tuft of pale hair on its forehead, which many observers say resembles the hairstyle of the former U.S. president.
Viral Sensation Draws Crowds
Curious visitors have been flocking daily to a livestock farm in the Narayanganj district to catch a glimpse of the cream-colored animal. People from various regions have traveled to the farm, taking selfies and recording videos with the buffalo, which has become a social media phenomenon. The farm owner, Ziauddin Mridha, noted that his younger brother came up with the name, pointing out the buffalo's calm and docile nature despite its striking appearance.
Special Care and Sale
The albino buffalo required special care and feeding due to its unique condition. According to Mridha, the animal has already been sold to a customer who plans to sacrifice it during the upcoming Eid al-Adha celebrations, a significant Islamic festival. The buffalo's viral fame has added an unexpected twist to the usual livestock trade before the holiday.
This is not the first time animals have been named after political figures in Bangladesh, but the buffalo's resemblance to Donald Trump has particularly amused the public. The story has been covered by international media, further amplifying its reach.
