Peaky Blinders Spin-Off Unveils First Look at Charlie Heaton as Charles Shelby

The BBC has released a first-look image of Charlie Heaton as Charles Shelby in the forthcoming spin-off of Peaky Blinders, created by Steven Knight. The new series is currently filming in and around Digbeth Loc. Studios in Birmingham.

Charles Shelby, having fought a violent war, now seeks normality but struggles to sever ties with his past. He hasn't seen his half-brother Duke, played by Jamie Bell, in years, having cut all connections to the Peaky Blinders gang.

Set a decade after World War Two, the story follows the brutal contest to rebuild Birmingham, a city of both opportunity and jeopardy. The cast also includes Jessica Brown Findlay, Lashana Lynch, and Lucy Karczewski in her television debut.
