Shaking felt across three provinces

The tremor was also felt in neighbouring Alicante, a popular holiday destination for British tourists, and Albacete, the institute reported.

Emergency services deluged with calls

Emergency services have been flooded with calls following the earthquake, with reports also coming in from Alicante, close to Benidorm.
