The hugely successful Prime Video programme returned to television earlier this month as Jeremy Clarkson commenced the fifth year of his farming endeavour.
Harriet's Role on the Farm
Over the years, Clarkson has benefited from substantial help from experts, including vets, wildlife specialists, and local farmers who have offered support and guidance whenever required. Among these individuals is Harriet Cowan, who served as a temporary stand-in for farm manager Kaleb Cooper while he was away on a speaking tour. Despite her brief appearance on the programme, the former community nurse from Derbyshire swiftly captured viewers' affections with her specialist expertise, quick wit, and no-nonsense manner.
While she may not feature as prominently in the show currently, having only made a fleeting appearance in the most recent fifth series, she maintains a substantial social media presence, where she regularly documents her work across different farms.

However, it appears that farming isn't her sole ability. She proceeded to reveal a surprising talent on Instagram while posting images from a recent contest she participated in. In the upload, she disclosed that she had been taking part in a Tug of War competition at the Lincoln Show, and that her squad had secured a notable position.
"What a day! We finished joint 2nd after some hard-fought pulls, but because they don't allow joint placings, it came down to team weight... and unfortunately, being the heavier team meant we were pushed into 3rd place!" she revealed in the caption of her Instagram post.
The Competition
The accompanying snaps showcased Harriet alongside her Derbyshire teammates, all sporting matching outfits comprising black shorts, white team shirts, and boots. Harriet appears in the pictures with her hair tied back in a ponytail beneath an army green cap, joining her fellow competitors in hauling the thick rope during the contest.
Despite her team falling short of victory, she continued: "Still incredibly proud of the team and the effort everyone put in. Plenty of laughs, plenty of bruises, and another great day representing Derbyshire at Lincoln Show. Roll on the next one," she enthusiastically concluded in her post.
