Tyson Fury's Nephew Wins Bronze at European Championships

Tyson Fury's 13-year-old nephew Shane Fury Jr has secured at least a bronze medal at the European Boxing Championships, continuing his promising start in the sport. Shane Jr, the son of Tyson's brother Shane, is representing England under-15s at the tournament in Turkey.

He reached the under-70kg semi-finals with a narrow 3-2 victory over Ukrainian prospect Bohdan Moroz, guaranteeing himself a medal. Tyson congratulated his nephew shortly after the fight, sharing a proud message on Instagram.

Proud Uncle's Message

In the Instagram post, Tyson said: "Get up there, my Shane! Shane just beat the Ukrainian in the quarter-final to secure a bronze medal. He fights next time for a silver in the semis."

He added: "So, so proud of him. I’m f***ing sat here shaking like a s**ting dog. Wow, the nerves on me from a f***ing child boxing is unbelievable."

"I can’t believe he’s done it, though. He’s very inexperienced, but he’s got himself a bronze medal and he beat a very good kid in the Ukrainian, a Ukrainian southpaw. So well done. Get up, Shane!"

Family Boxing Legacy

Shane Jr is the latest in a long line of talented boxers from the Fury family. Tyson's sons Prince John James and Prince Adonis Amaziah have also trained in the ring. Shane Sr is an accomplished amateur boxer, having previously won a gold medal representing England at the Four Nations tournament, but is more widely known as a member of Tyson's close circle.

Shane Jr isn't the only boxer with a famous name at the championships. Daniel Dubois' younger brother Solomon is also taking part, and Lola Hatton, the niece of the late Ricky Hatton, is competing in the women's category. She will move into the under-60kg final if she beats Russian rival Kristina Okhlopkova on Saturday.
