In a glittering black-tie event that celebrated the very best of British boxing, legends Ricky Hatton and Michael Watson, along with renowned promoter Barry Hearn, were bestowed with the esteemed Freedom of the City of London.
The ceremony, held in the heart of London, recognised their outstanding contributions to the sport and their inspirational impact both inside and outside the ring.
A Night of Honour and Celebration
The prestigious award, one of the oldest traditional honours in the UK, was presented at a lavish ceremony attended by boxing royalty, sports personalities, and dignitaries.
Ricky Hatton, the former two-weight world champion known as 'The Hitman', and Michael Watson, whose courageous recovery from a career-ending injury inspired millions, stood proudly as they received their honours.
"This is an incredible privilege," said Hatton. "To be recognised by the City of London alongside such distinguished company is truly humbling."
Barry Hearn's Lifetime Achievement
Promoter Barry Hearn, who revolutionised British boxing and sports entertainment, was similarly honoured for his decades of service to the industry.

The Freedom of the City, dating back to 1237, remains one of London's most symbolic honours, granting recipients various historic privileges and marking their significant contributions to society.
