Nearly 600 walkers, joggers, and runners took part in the weekly 5k parkrun at Newcastle's Town Moor on Saturday 26th September 2026.
The fine autumnal morning saw participants in high spirits as they gathered for the 9am event, with some accompanied by pets and youngsters in prams.
Event Details and Participants
The Town Moor event is one of several parkruns held across the North East on Saturday mornings. Other locations include Leazes Park, Jesmond Dene, Saltwell Park, Denton Dene, Herrington Country Park, Whitley Bay Links, and Blyth Links.
