TalkTV presenter Kevin O'Sullivan has launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Andy Burnham, branding him a "northern idiot" during an appearance on Jeremy Kyle's show. O'Sullivan accused Burnham of failing to listen to the British public amid ongoing unrest across Europe.
Riots Across Europe
Over the weekend, a wave of violence swept across Europe in countries including Spain, France and Portugal, as people protested over dissatisfaction with schools and the wider cost of living crisis. French Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu attributed the unrest in several cities to the "ultra-left."
However, Jeremy Kyle argued the unrest is actually due to immigration. "All that's going on and nobody in Europe will admit it's because of unvetted immigration," he fumed. "They're now blaming the left. They blame the right."
Burnham's EU Stance
Kyle also criticised Burnham's proposal to spend billions to rejoin the EU. "And Andy Burnham in the midst of all of this wants to spend billions to get back with the EU. And we've got no money!" he said.
O'Sullivan warned viewers to "get ready," predicting protests could spread to Britain as leaders fail to address public concerns. "It's because all of the leaders of these countries ignore us, including Burnham, including every prime minister we've had for the last two decades," he said. "They are completely out of touch with the people on the ground."
Migrant Crisis Criticism
Slamming the government, O'Sullivan said: "We're sick to death of immigration. We're sick to death of the migrant crisis. And what is our prime minister saying today? 'We got to do something about loud music on trains.' Thanks, Andy."
He also described Shabana Mahmood's migrant crisis crackdown as a "total sham," revealing that 200,000 people have been granted indefinite leave to remain since ministers proposed tough restrictions last year.
In a humiliating takedown, O'Sullivan said: "I would say to Andy Burnham, you call yourself the listening prime minister, start bloody well listening because you're not listening so far. What are you trying to do? You northern idiot. You're trying to rejoin the EU. Look at the EU. It's on fire! The countries are in revolt. That sclerotic organisation is falling apart at the seams and the only thing this Labor government can think of is let's get back in with it."
