Princess Charlotte is celebrating her 11th birthday, and the Prince and Princess of Wales have shared a new photograph of her to mark the occasion. The previously unseen image, captured by Matt Porteous during the family's Easter break in Cornwall, shows Charlotte wearing a black and red striped jumper and blue denim jeans, walking through a field of daisies while smiling warmly at the camera.
Royal Birthday Tribute
The picture was posted on the Kensington Palace Instagram and X accounts, accompanied by the message: 'Wishing Charlotte a very happy 11th birthday!' The photo is the latest in a series of family snapshots taken by Porteous, a photographer the Waleses frequently turn to for personal milestones.
Family Celebrations
On Friday, the family also celebrated the first birthday of their second dog, Otto, a brown spaniel. A picture of Otto looking at the camera was shared on social media with the caption: 'Welcome to the family, Otto! 1 today.' That photo was also taken by Porteous in Cornwall.
Earlier in the week, on Wednesday, a family portrait featuring the couple and their two dogs was released to commemorate William and Kate's 15th wedding anniversary. That image, also taken by Porteous in Cornwall, shows the couple lying together in the grass in the sunshine, surrounded by their three children—Charlotte, Prince George, and Prince Louis—and their dogs Orla and Otto.
