A woman has been arrested in connection with the suspected murder of six-year-old Kyran Durnin, as authorities escalate the investigation into his disappearance.
Case Upgraded to Murder Probe
Kyran Durnin, who was six years old when he was last seen alive in June 2022, was officially reported missing at the end of August 2024. Now, Gardai have upgraded the missing person case to a murder investigation, leading to the arrest of a woman in her 50s.
Arrest and Search
The suspect is being held under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda station in the eastern region.
